Pyrotek manufactures ware handling components to fit Emhart, Owens, Heye, Sheppee and Pennekamp transfer wheels. We work with our customers to develop the right part for their varied applications. Pyrotek transfer wheel components and glass contact materials outperform other products offered to the glass container industry. The PT-4 material used in the manufacture of Pyrotek's transfer fingers and spacers contains a special additive that greatly increases the wear characteristics but does not allow oils, grease or hot end coating to adhere. PYROTEK'S PT-4 WILL NOT CHECK! The PT-4 material allows us to custom machine fingers to suit any bottle shape meaning smoother ware transfer and increased production speeds for our customers. Our PT-4 transfer wheel system, with dovetail or T-slot mounting, allows for "on the fly" quick changeout of fingers and backpads. Pyrotek also manufactures NWT (curve chain) paddles for Owens transfer wheels. NWT paddles can be purchased with our TS-200 material (high temperature resin reinforced with fiberglass and graphite) or our P-25T material (high temperature, wear resistant carbon/carbon composite). Both materials have proven not to check and to outperform materials offered by our competitors.
