The PyroFast refractory system is designed around a two component technology incorporating a dry refractory aggregate mixed with a liquid binder. This material can be effectively mixed and placed on-site, working well for both casting and patching. After PyroFast 234 has fully cured, it has a maximum use temperature of 3100°F (1700°C).
This material is a unique phosphate-bonded high alumina refractory castable, recommended for use in aluminium applications where corrosion, thermal shock, alkali attack and high temperature are factors. Pyrotek technical specialists are available to assist in specifying the best materials for each use, applications and dryout procedures for PyroFast 234.
