Pyrocast FS73 AL

Pyrocast FS73 AL is a fused silica castable refractory that is inert to liquid aluminium and its alloys. It is a high-strength material offering remarkable resistance to erosion and mechanical damage. Parts cast from Pyrocast FS73 AL are heat-treated to ensure free and combined water are removed. Pyrocast FS73 AL floats in aluminium, minimizing the potential for refractory inclusions.
