Pressured air is an expensive medium, and the steel body assemblies of the past needed up to 15 m³ pressured air for cooling the bearings. We have developed a solution to reduce nozzle operating costs, make SNIF® nozzle assembly and operation more user friendly, and save the rare resources of our planet.

The ambient air-cooled steel body assembly eliminates the requirement for pressured air cooling at the steel body assemblies. Simply replace the existing steel body assembly with the new ambient air-cooled steel body assembly. The only additional work is to eliminate the pressured air alarm at the electrical panel. Converting to the ambient air-cooled steel body will save up to 131.000 m³ pressured air per year and nozzle. No other nozzle assembly changes are required.
