Pyrocast NZ

Pyrocast NZ is our premium small component fused silica refractory castable inert to molten aluminium and its alloys. Its optimized packing density results in a high-strength and erosion resistant material. Its proprietary non-wetting agent offers outstanding resistance to molten aluminium at elevated temperatures. Parts cast from Pyrocast NZ are heat-treated to ensure all moisture is removed from the refractory.
