Pyrocast M63 AL

Pyrocast M63 AL is a mullite-based low moisture castable designed for refractory castings in areas of molten aluminium processing which are subjected to severe abrasion and thermal shock. This refractory exhibits excellent strength, high density and low porosity.

APPLICATIONS

• Inductors and uppercases of vertical induction furnaces melting copper alloys
• High erosion areas of aluminium transfer launders
• Aluminium tapout blocks in melting and holding furnaces
• Baffles
• Ladle liners
