ACT Immersion Heater

The ACT (Aluminium Compact Thermal) immersion heater is uniquely designed to be directly immersed into molten aluminium baths. The lightweight unit is constructed with an outer sialon sheath and three internal heating elements. The sialon sheath offers excellent resistance to corrosion by molten aluminium and its alloys, as well as good thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength. Only the heating wires of ACT heaters are embedded in a material which provides both electrical insulation and ability to efficiently transfer heat. The result is improved heat transfer to the melt.
