Installation Overview

Turnkey solutions with EMP taking full responsibility in all aspects of the EMP System installation (furnace modifications, cabling, pipework etc.) are something that EMP are very capable of managing with over 40% of their projects managed in this way and with the depth of cast house engineering and operational knowledge available in the EMP team - with a combined expertise of over 120 years, our clients can have the confidence that the project will be executed in a 1st class manner by a team used to working within the cast house environment.

Since commissioning of the first operational EMP system in 1992 at Calder Aluminium, over 150 projects have been undertaken by EMP on many different reverberatory furnace types all over the world.

Some of these installations have included EMP as part of a new build project, but many have been retrofits to existing casthouse furnaces.
