Thermocouple Elements and Assemblies

Pyrotek offers a complete line of thermocouple elements and assemblies for temperature sensing. Our sales engineers are trained to assist you in selecting the correct thermocouple element for your specific process. They help you determine which assembly, element and element options offer the greatest advantage to your operation.

Base Metal Elements
Pyrotek offers three basic types of base metal thermocouples: insulated wire, bare elements and ceramic insulated elements. These elements are stocked in a variety of gauges ranging from 8 to 14 and in J, K and N calibrations.

Die Thermocouples
Pyrotek's fiberglass insulated elements with protective tubing are capable of temperatures up to 900°F (482°C).

Noble Metal Elements
Pyrotek’s noble metal elements offer the advantages of handling higher temperatures and providing greater accuracy than base metal elements.

Pyro-Pak Elements
Pyrotek's mineral insulated (MgO) elements are fast responding, durable and capable of handling high temperatures to 2200°F (1204°C). The Pyro-Pak elements, with their protective metal outer sheath and smaller diameter conductors, out perform bare wire elements. Pyro-Pak elements are stocked in a variety of diameters and stainless steel grades.

Custom Thermocouple Assemblies
Pyrotek provides complete assemblies with thermocouple element, protection tube and process termination. Pyrotek engineers are skilled at determining the proper materials needed for your exact requirements.
