Metallurgical Services Group Manager
As Metallurgical Services Group Manager, Neil is responsible for the management of global melt quality assessment programmes and filtration. Neil is himself a specialist in nonmetallic inclusion measurement. Emphasis of this group is on customer metal quality sampling and assessment and process improvement. The Metallurgical Group was formed when Neil joined Pyrotek in 1999. His career to date has included a number of key positions in Research and Development. Neil is a specialist in nonmetallic inclusion measurement, the management of global melt quality assessment programmes and filtration. Emphasis is on customer metal quality sampling and assessment and process improvement. In the last fifteen years, Neil has developed strong links with major aluminium producers in the area of melt quality assessment. He has been responsible for a number of key research & development programmes with over twenty-five technical publications to his name.
